October 16, 1923, is a special date for Disney fans, as it marks the founding day of The Walt Disney Company. For a century, we\'ve grown up with Disney\'s classic stories, breathtaking beauty and unforgettable characters that have inspired the dreams and imagination of millions. And now, the Disney100 celebration has inspired a specially designed, minted tribute available from The Bradford Exchange Mint. Introducing The Disney 100 Years of Wonder Proof Collection, saluting the many beloved characters who have captured our hearts through the decades.

To honour this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, each Disney collectible Proof in the collection is grandly sized at a huge 2 inches in diameter - 30% larger than traditional Proofs - and richly plated in gleaming 99.9% silver. On the front of each Proof is a different beloved Disney character in full-colour artwork, vividly revealed within the Disney 100 Years of Wonder logo to recall the depth and dimension of a traditional animation cell. The back of each Proof features a sculpted Disney 100 Years of Wonder logo with a raised-relief faceted texture. Plus, there\'s a 10-sided inner outline design on both sides to represent the 10 decades of the Disney company. Special Proof-quality coining dies create mirror-bright fields and frosted details for the silver-plated Proofs, which arrive secured in crystal-clear capsules to protect their beauty. A custom display box is included with Issue Two to show off the entire Disney100 collection. Issue Seven is a proof quality coin, minted in 1 oz. of pure silver and plated in pure platinum.

Proofs measure 2\" in diameter; 5.1 cm in diameter; display measures 12-3/16\" W x 8-1/2\" L; 31 cm W x 21.6 cm L
